Have yourself a putty party!
Are you finding holes where your utilities are entering your home? Water can get into these holes and cause damage. These are also places easily accessible to rodents.
Something we see all the time. Rusted electric meters that are costly to replace at the home owners expense. Typically the seal where the main service line comes in has failed. Using a low cost pack of utility putty (or also known as duct seal), can fix the holes, gaps and cracks at the entry point. Taking a chunk off the block, molding it to make it softer and then applying it to the entry point, will fix the problem and only take about 5-10 minutes of your time.
